Manage your online account with NY.gov ID

Request a Personal Identification Number (PIN)

A PIN is required to set up your online child support account.

Call 1-888-208-4485 (TTY: 1-866-875-9975) to request your PIN.

You will need to provide your full name, Social Security number (SSN), child support account number(s), and your mailing address. You can also mail a written request to the following address: Attn: PIN, NYS Child Support Processing Center, PO Box 15365, Albany, NY 12212-5365. A written request must also include your signature.

Log in to NY.gov

Update NY.gov account

If you do not have a NY.gov ID, you can create a NY.gov ID now. You will need your PIN to create your account.

You can also use a NY.gov ID from another State agency (e.g., MyBenefits, Tax and Finance, Motor Vehicles, etc.) to access your child support account information. Go to the NY.gov ID Log in page, enter the NY.gov ID you want to use, and follow the prompts.

Do you want to change the e-mail address or security questions and answers for your NY.gov ID? Log in to Account Update with your NY.gov ID username and password. Click Modify Account, make your changes, and click Confirm to save your changes.

Recover your username or password

Remember—Your NY.gov ID password is case sensitive. Be sure to type your username and password exactly as you created them, with the right combination of UPPERCASE and lowercase letters, numbers, or symbols.

Use the "Forgot your Username or Password" link from the NY.gov ID log-in page.

Unlock your account

If your account is locked, wait at least two hours before you try to log in again. If you cannot log in after two hours, you must reset your password. Use the "Forgot Password" link on the NY.gov ID page.
